To evaluate a blog you need to evaluate its content, quality and credibility.
There are several ways to check a blog's credibility, which include checking:
1. The blog has an author and an organisation profile with contact information;
2. There are links to other credible blogs or websites;
3. Any links or references are to reputable sources;
4. There is not an overwhelming clutter of advertisements;
7. The blog is written objectively or without an extreme point of view; written in a reasonable and rational language;
8. The blog is free from spam;
9. The blog is free from spelling mistakes;
10. There are good remarks or comments from reputable people;
11. The blog responds in a timely manner to posts.
In judging whether the content of a blog is of good quality, it is critical to judge the relevance of each post. If the blog reads like a advertisement, this is a good indicator that it is not a quality blog. Such blogs do not appeal to potential users. Users of blogs require an interactive community in which they can contribute opinions to freely without fear of being marketed to. Users need to feel comfortable with the online interaction on a blog.
Pictures, links to other reputable websites and informational posts with credible references are all good indicators of quality content. This also generates conversation amongst users and encourages responses from users of the blog to contribute a wide range of perspectives.

Chocolate Milk - the new sports drink?
Researcher Joel M. Stager, PhD, an exercise physiologist at Indiana University has conducted a study into the benefits of chocolate milk for post-exercise recovery and has found that it may even be better for you than commercial sports drinks.
Milk contains key nutrients like calcium and vitamin D that commercial sports drinks just can't match. According to the Body Fitness Info website, Professor Stager has stated that "chocolate milk contains an optimal carbohydrate to protein ratio, which is critical for helping refuel tired muscles after strenuous exercise and can enable athletes to exercise at a high intensity during subsequent workouts".
In order to keep performing exercise for an extended period of time, it's really important to have something nutritional immediately after exercise. Chocolate milk looks like it is the perfect answer! It's inexpensive, easy to access, tastes good and is good for you! Looks as though chocolate milk really is the drink of champion athletes.
You can read more information about this topic at the Indiana University's website or at the Body Fitness Info website.
